Our optician, Christina, brings years of experience in eye care to the proper fitting of glasses and complex prescriptions including prism glasses. She is dedicated to taking the time to fit glasses properly. Christina says "a properly fit pair of glasses should feel like wearing nothing at all." Expertise includes challenging fits and custom eyewear. We are dedicated to providing the finest fit and frame selection available and to offering a wide selection of price points to accommodate any budget or style. Patient satisfaction is our abiding goal and we frequently engage in outreach to mobility impaired or nursing home bound patients who may require additional attention. Patients are never treated like "big box" customers but as individuals with custom needs and expectations.
All of our quality frames include a one year manufacture defect warranty. This warranty does not cover if they're lost or stolen.
Prisms - Since Dr. Adams is a Strabismus surgeon, it goes without saying that we see a lot of patients needing prescriptions with prisms in them. Both the Doctor and the Optician have many years of experience with prism eyeglasses. If you wear eyeglasses with prisms, please come in, we'll take good care of you and your eyewear needs.
Single Vision, Lined Bifocals, Lined Trifocals, Progressives (no line trifocals). If you have specific questions about lenses, please come in and meet with our optician to discuss the details about your lenses.
Specialty Lenses: We take into consideration your employment. We want to know what you do for a living. Not every prescription is the same, therefore, we will take the time with you to find out your specific eyewear needs and design a prescription around that. If it's just reading or computer glasses, we can make it. No prescription is too complex for our lab.
CR-39 (Plastic), Polyurethane (Phoenix), Mid-Index & High Index. Polyurethane is an impact resistant, shatter-proof lens. This lens is 20% thinner and lighter than regular plastic and has better clarity (optics) than a polycarbonate lens. Polycarbonate lenses have been known to cause distortion with some patients that's why we choose not to use this material. If you purchase Phoenix material lenses you will get a 2 year unlimited scratch coat warranty. No questions asked.
Additional Types of Lenses:
Photochromics (Transitions), Polarized, Tint
Scratch coating, Anti Reflective Coating (this includes a 2 year unlimited scratch coat warranty!)
Our lab is a state-of-the-art, all digital, high tech lab. We use nothing but the best products and materials ensuring your vision is the best it possibly can be. Usually we can have your glasses back in 7 - 10 business days.
